Jonáš Záborský
This bust commemorates one of the important figures of 19th-century Slovak cultural and literary life. Jonáš Záborský was a writer, poet, playwright, historian, journalist and clergyman whose life was also connected with Prešov.
His legacy remains closely linked to the city’s cultural life. The Jonáš Záborský Theatre in Prešov also bears his name.

Memorial to the Victims of Fascism
The memorial commemorates one of the tragic events in the modern history of Prešov. During the bombing of the city in 1944, a prison where anti-fascist resistance fighters were being held was also hit.
Today, the site serves as a reminder of the victims of war, persecution and the loss of freedom, and forms an important part of the city’s historical memory.

Solivar – Salt Warehouse
Solivar is one of the most significant technical monuments in Slovakia and preserves the centuries-old tradition of salt extraction and production in Prešov. The historic complex consisted of buildings used to extract brine, process it and store the finished salt.
One of the most distinctive landmarks of the complex is the monumental Salt Warehouse with its characteristic tower and arcades. Today, the entire site is an exceptional reminder of the industrial history of Prešov and the Šariš region.
